IU take Fuel on board for exciting new brand
The region’s largest utility broker has undergone a rebranding exercise to boost its presence in the South West and invested in a new corporate identity, website, advertising and sponsorship campaigns.
Independent Utilities, owned by brothers Joedy and Chaz Lawrence, has enlisted support from Plymouth-based integrated design, PR and marketing agency Fuel to deliver the project and work with them on an ongoing basis to grow the IU brand. The new look is currently being rolled out across the organisation and with commercial partners which include Plymouth Argyle, Plymouth Albion and the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Joedy Lawrence, Director of Independent Utilities said: “We have ambitious plans to grow the business and wanted to work with an agency to take us to the next level. We were approached by a number of companies but Fuel’s desire to work with us stood out right from the first meeting. So far they have come up with a tremendous new brand identity, website and have worked hard behind the scenes to ensure we get maximum value out of our new deal sponsorship deal with Plymouth Argyle. We look forward to working with the Fuel team on an ongoing retainer arrangement.”
Martyn King, Director of Fuel said: “Everybody here at Fuel has thoroughly enjoyed working with the team at Independent Utilities. The new IU brand identity represents their truly independent approach to working with business and domestic customers to keep costs down and managing the whole process. Their investment in a new identity and high-profile sponsorships shows their confidence in Plymouth as a city and their ambition to grow the business significantly.”
